Terrific quote. I miss Sagan, he died far too soon. I first saw him as a kid, when he gave the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures, sometime in the late 70s, I believe. He had an extraordinary gift of not only being able to explain complicated ideas to ordinary people, but doing so in a way that inspired and provoked awe and curiosity. Even though he was an undoubted political liberal, he seemed to transcend politics and truly loved humanity. I wonder what he would make of the world today?
